The Story:
For 15 years I cruised and traveled through the Bahamas exploring the Out Islands. So many wonderful people I met and sights I saw. The Abacos, Marsh Harbour, Elbow Cay, Green Turtle Cay, Guana Cay, Man O' War Cay, The Exumas, Stocking Island, Nassau, Chub Cay and Southward.
This painting is a view I enjoyed as I biked to a nearby cove off of Marsh Harbor. The winds were honking out of the North and this cove was protected from those early Spring winds. Since it was unusual to see boats of any kind anchored here, I took in the scene and put a paint brush to paper.
May it relax you as much as it did me. You can sip on a Bahama Mama and feel like you are right there relaxing on the beach!
