The Story:
For 15 years I cruised and traveled through the Bahamas exploring the Out Islands. So many wonderful people I met and sights I saw. The Abacos, Marsh Harbour, Elbow Cay, Green Turtle Cay, Guana Cay, Man O' War Cay, The Exumas, Stocking Island, Nassau, Chub Cay and Southward.
This painting is inspired by my love for Elbow Cay and the many special places on the island. For me, this place high atop looking down on the reef holds special memories of morning sunrises, snorkeling around the reef, and a man that used to fish from this location. I never did see him catch a fish but when he did, he had to reel it in from a twenty-five foot height just to land it!
