The Cape Lookout Lighthouse Is My Diamond Lady, And All Who Spend Time Near Her Feel At Peace In Her Presence Whether Anchored Out Or On Her Beaches. For Years I Have Navigated The Backwaters To Be Near Her Whether To Fish, Clam or Just Enjoy The Serenity of Core Sound and The Atlantic Ocean.
I Especially Love This Painting As The Cape Lookout Lighthouse & Keepers Quarters Are Framed By The Sand Dunes and Wooden Fence. The Sea Oats Also Add Beauty To This Outer Banks Scene.
The Cape Lookout Lighthouse is the Southernmost Lighthouse of the Outer Banks, Warning Vessels of Her Shoals. She Is Distinctive With Her Black and White Diamonds, Marking East and East...And North and South.
