The Story:
After living full-time in Beaufort NC for 25 years, I have fallen in love with our town, its barrier islands, wild horses, the endless variety of boats which pass through our waterways, our local shrimp boats, our sea life, our bird life and Cape Lookout National Seashore. All of my paintings reflect my love for these special and unique local treasures.
This painting is inspired by love for sunlight, shapes and patterns they make in the sand.
