The Story:
After living full-time in Beaufort NC for 25 years, I have fallen in love with our town, its barrier islands, wild horses, the endless variety of boats which pass through our waterways, our local shrimp boats, our sea life, our bird life and Cape Lookout National Seashore.
All of my paintings reflect my love for these special and unique local treasures.
I Especially Love this Painting As The Cape Lookout Lighthouse & Keepers Quarters Are Close Up And Adorn The Black and White Colors Of The Painted Diamonds But Also The Quarters.
The Cape Lookout Lighthouse Is My Diamond Lady, And All Who Spend Time Near Her Feel At Peace In Her Presence Whether Anchored Out Or On Her Beaches. For Years I Have Navigated The Backwaters To Be Near Her Whether To Fish, Clam or Just Enjoy The Serenity of Core Sound and The Atlantic Ocean.
The Cape Lookout Lighthouse is the Southernmost Lighthouse of the Outer Banks, Warning Vessels of Her Shoals. She Is Distinctive With Her Black and White Diamonds, Marking East and East...And North and South.
